Our Air Quality Alerts system provides a free subscription service that notifies registered users when air pollution in Oxfordshire is forecast to reach MODERATE, HIGH, or VERY HIGH levels. The description of pollution levels is based on the UK Daily Air Quality Index (DAQI), and each alert includes guidance from health professionals to help you make informed decisions and take any necessary precautions.
This service is designed for anyone who wants to stay informed about air quality, especially those with medical conditions that may be affected by pollution, such as asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema. It may also benefit individuals whose breathing worsens when air pollution increases. By receiving early warnings, you can take proactive steps to minimise the effects of pollution episodes.
You can log in to your account at any time to manage your subscription preferences, including updating your settings or unsubscribing if needed.
Please note that the Air Quality Alerts service does not provide pollen level reports. For pollen forecasts, please visit the pollen forecast.
